Export & Import
Export and import let you back up every view and setting to a file, or move your setup to another device without iCloud Sync.
Available on the free tier.
Export JSON
- Open Settings → iCloud & Data.
- Tap Export JSON.
- Save the file through the iOS share sheet, Files, AirDrop, or another destination you trust.
The export includes your views: names, keywords, colours, icons, date ranges, and advanced rules. It does not include calendar events (those stay in Apple Calendar), your hidden-events list, or app preferences.
Import JSON
- Open Settings → iCloud & Data.
- Tap Import JSON.
- Pick a file you previously exported.
Import adds the views from the file alongside the ones you already have; nothing is deleted or overwritten. Importing the same file twice creates duplicates, so delete any you don’t need afterwards. Views that reference calendars not present on this device are imported without them — pick calendars for those views manually.
When to use export
- Before trying a major reorganisation of your views
- Moving to a new iPhone without iCloud Sync
- Keeping an offline backup you control
Delete All Views
Settings → iCloud & Data → Delete All Views removes every view and your custom keywords on this device. It does not delete calendar events. If iCloud Sync is on, also delete synced data from iOS Settings → Apple ID → iCloud → Manage Storage → Soona to clear the cloud copy.
